Digital Academy
Leon County Digital Academy Information

Students who choose to attend Lincoln's Digital Academy are allowed to participate in extracurricular activites and/or sports, but are NOT allowed on campus prior to 2:00 PM. Students on campus after school hours are required to be under the supervision of a faculty/staff member.

Digital Academy
We will have approximately 30% of our students who will participate in the digital academy. These students will be following our bell schedule and will take courses, taught by Lincoln teaches, but will do so remotely.

Some of our digital academy classes will be blended, meaning the digital student and student present at Lincoln will be in the same section and will be taking the class at the same time. However, we have scheduled the majority of our digital course requests into digital only sections. This means the teacher will only be instructing digital academy students during the class period. We have elected to utilize this approach, where possible, to allow our teachers to focus on one instructional mode at a time.

Digital academy students will be expected to be logged into their course during the scheduled time for that course. Like a traditional class, teachers will determine workloads and assignments, and attendance will be taken daily.

All Lincoln courses are available for a student in the digital academy. However, student schedules are limited by availability and conflicts within the student schedule. This means that while a student may prefer a course, scheduling it may be prevented for the student due to one of these circumstances.

We have been informed by the district, the devices for students will not be available for the start of school.
